So Ask has a new look but is it any better at finding what you want?

  I had a look at the new site today. The first thing that hits you is the ability to add your own skins. Some great images, admittedly in the ilk of Google and others, and you can upload your own image.

Next I notice that you can search web, images, news and lots of answers, so it looks like Ask is setting itself apart as the engine to find answers. So how good is it? I try a few searches and see what the difference is.

Ask and Google come up with a very similar results, however I like the look of the results in Ask better and the useful suggestions of related searches is a great idea.

I think I will be taking Ask for a spin in the future and will definitely add it to my Firefox search box.
